It’s the final countdown and we may have gone overboard. That is, we have been ordering puppy supplies on a weekly basis, taking advantage of the recent holiday sales and stashing them in the gym room of our house. I decided to take all the supplies we’ve accumulated and photograph them in one spot. This is the result.
I credit this madness and photo setup to my fellow Instagram Doberman friend, @kobe.the.european.dobie. Kobe is also a European Doberman Pinscher from one of West Coast Doberman‘s summer 2019 litter. We may have even met Kobe while up at the ranch last August!
Our puppy welcome supplies include: chew toys, sport jersey and bandana (can you tell that we are Los Angeles Angels fans?), potty training doorbell, bully sticks, Knead Love Bakeshop treats, teething toys, tug and chew ropes, an XL dog bed, Knead Love dog treats, a dog leash from K9 Tactical Gear, Fi Smart Dog Collar, dog tag, dog water flask, crate + crate bed, poop bags and a collection of hideaway toys. I will do a product review on some of the more advanced gadgets, such as the Fi Smart Collar and potty training doorbell down the line.
Whether we’ve gone overboard or not, we still have a bunch of items to order from our list. They are mostly hygiene and grooming supplies, such as FURminator, odor/stain remover sprays, claw grinder, dog toothbrush stick and dog toothpaste. We will be picking up Atlas next weekend and we cannot wait! I took three days off from work on the week after Atlas is home with us to be with Atlas on his first week at our home. I have scheduled Atlas’ first vet visit for his microchip, wellness exam and vaccination schedule. We will enroll Atlas on a pet health insurance plan with preventative care option the night we pick him up.
Stay tuned for a puppy pick-up post and continuous updates by the third week of January! I may take our puppy pick up day as an opportunity to record and edit our first video for this site.
